Nvidia's AI advantage is moving beyond the GPU

Nvidia's earnings this week revealed a shift in its competitive advantage. As AI compute scales to gigawatt levels, the challenge is no longer just the GPU itself but orchestrating the entire data center. Nvidia's Vera Rubin architecture, including the Vera CPU, focuses on data movement and efficiency, claiming up to 3x improvements. Rivals like OpenAI are also addressing this with chips like Jalapeño, but Nvidia's early lead in system-level orchestration is becoming its new moat.
If the GPU is the engine, these are the rest of the car.

A very incoherent article. Reads like a Submarine[1].

I don't think any company will be able to hold a significant monopoly in the space for the simple law of economics: high margins (especially combined with high absolute volumes) attract competition.
And the wider the margins and volumes the more competitors have incentives in making gigantic investments.
