Keen Bean - Mac meeting notes that draft the spec while you talk

Show HN: Keen Bean – Mac meeting notes that draft the spec while you talk

Keen Bean is a Mac app that turns your meetings into actionable first drafts. It listens to both sides of the conversation using your Mac's audio, without any bot joining the call, and automatically generates tasks, decisions, risks, and even draft specs, diagrams, or mock-ups as you speak. Unlike traditional transcription tools, Keen Bean starts the work for you, leaving you with editable drafts in Markdown and JSON files that you own. It's built for consultants, founders, and anyone who needs to produce documents from meetings, with a focus on privacy and no API keys required.

Leave the meeting with a first draft, not a blank page.

For what its worth, I have had Claude try to name two of my personal projects _Sprout_. One was a dashboard for my Beancount instance, so I thought it cute. But the second time it attempted to name something sprout it was more of a wtf, why Sprout. Fascinating here to see it again.

Feels like a major unlock with 1) how good AI has gotten, 2) how fast it can output meaningful work. Excited that there's a whole new design space opening up! This feels like one of the first truly new things I have seen.

In the future the product itself will be implemented by the end of the meeting.
