GrassLobster: AI Agentic Generation of Parametric Geometry Workflows
GrassLobster is an experimental Rhino/Grasshopper plugin that connects parametric models to external AI coding agents like OpenAI Codex or Claude Code. Describe a design idea, and the agent builds connected Geometry Stations with adjustable inputs, keeping the geometric logic visible and editable. The alpha release supports Windows x64 and Rhino 8, with GPT-6 Astra showing strong results in early trials.

Rhino is unusually suitable for AI agentic generation since it is very command line driven and there are a lot of example RhinoScript projects. McNeel, the Rhino developers, also have a lot of open source stuff, Rhino MCP, and explicit support for headless Rhino [1], which makes it even more amenable.

There's also Raven which is an AI tool built on top of Rhino3D.
